We purchased an electric amana range two and half years ago and last night at a family function someone (we open it gingerly knowing the issues we have had with it) opened the oven door and IT FELL OFF. The fact the person was not burned and the dinner may not have been able to be finished is the last straw!!!! We were able to get the door back on after 15 minutes of dicking around to finish the meal. We have had the hinges replaced twice by the service men during the warranty period. This is ridiculous - has anyone else experienced this problem and/or know if contacting amana manufacturing rep will do any good?
Thanks for your help. In addition we have not been happy with the light stains that have appeared on the cook top despite our very diligent care of the cook top. |
