Replacing a Broken Cooktop Top Assembly

I have a 4 year old Jenn-Air electric downdraft cooktop (JED8430BDB). A heavy pot slipped and cracked the cooktop. It still works fine, but it looks terrible. I can get a new top assembly for it. Is this something that I can replace myself, or will I need to have it professionally done? I can't find any instructions for replacing this top assembly.
