Hi,
I have a Maytag side by side that was leaking water on the floor. I de-iced the drain like I saw in a few other posts and would like to know what causes the drain to freeze?? Is there something that I need to do or fix to prevent this from happening again??? or does it just happen every now and then??? Thanks!!! Greg ![]() |

You might want to get something to run down the drain line, I use a evaporator cooler spider snake:
http://www.azpartsmaster.com/shopazp...LR4690%29.html They are used basically in Arizona to clean out the water pump tubes that run to the cooler pads. I don't know if they would sell them in your area, but if you go to your local hardware store, they should have something similar to run down your drain to clean it completely out. Jake
