I was having problems with my old Maytag dryer not heating. I replaced the heating element, thermostat, thermal fuse, timer and heat select switch but nothing helped. I finally rented a new dryer until I can figure out what's wrong with the old one and the new one is having the same problem. I checked the voltage at the outlet and I was getting 115.6 on either leg. I tried replacing the circuit and got a little better readings, 116.7 on either side, but still no heat. I even replaced the outlet. The vent is clear. Any ideas?
