Rick, The Dishwasher is a Maytag Quiet 300 Series. I have checked all the Maytag error codes in the link and the closest seems to be that a '9' implies something with the door. But the door seems to work, unless if the switch doesn't work right, the error code shows. However the cycles are messed up from time to time and it's difficult to get a proper cycle.
Any Ideas?

Still no luck with that model number. For some reason we have a hard time looking up Canadian models here in the lower 48. If this model uses an electronic control board, I would suspect that is where the problem is. Wish I could be more help.

I found your model#, but I don't see "Rinse" light and the number 9 error code anywhere online.

If you take off your lower access panel below the door, you should see the diagnostics service sheet.
