Maytag Quiet Series 300 flashing "20"
I have a Maytag Quiet Series 300 (model #MDB6601AWS) and yesterday none of the lights would come on when the door was latched. Pushed every button, made sure no breakers had issues, GFI's weren't triggered, etc. Left it alone for a few hours assuming it was still a power issue and when I came back, it was flashing the number 20. Tried all buttons, but couldn't get it to do anything. If I open and close the latch, all the lights go blank. Then after a while the 20 starts flashing again. Called Maytag and they have no idea and want to schedule service.
Trying to save some cash, so hoping someone can help point me in the right direction
.
Let me know if you need other information.

If you take off your lower access panel in the front below your door, there should be a service diagnostics sheet and you can run the diagnostics.
Its likely your control board is malfunctioning.
Here's the one for your model:
Manufacturer's Number: 99003431

If you purchase parts from our links here and you install them and it doesn't fix the problem, you have a 30 day full refund.
Check your owners manual to see if you have an extended warranty on that control board, some models do.

Thanks so much for the reply. I'm not super handy, but are these control boards pretty straightforward to install? I'll definitely take a look at the diagnostics sheet when I get home tonight.
One other question--I don't have the owners manual and can't find one online, but if I just call Maytag, will they be able to tell me if the part is under warranty? My guess is they will probably want to send out a technician to look at it first, and then they'd order the part if it was under warranty. What is the best way to take advantage of the warranty on that part if there is a warranty on it?
Thanks in advance,
Lance

If the part is under warranty, Maytag will have to come and install it, you will get the part for free, but you will have to pay labor.
