Jenn Air SVE47600W
Display panel on this range has failed twice. Ignored the gradual dimming the second time and lived with it. Used self cleaning, cycle completed no problems. Day later the oven fan came on mysteriously - had not even used the range. Flipped switch at breaker box to turn off - when turned back on to use range, no fan. When trying to use bake, convect bake, roast or convect roast, oven would come on for a second or two, beep as if it had preheated, but no heat. Replaced display. No change. New display shows normal with clock, no error codes. Still when using those functions, oven comes on, relay clicks, preheat shows in display, then a beep after a second or two, preheat goes off, "On" goes off although display shows set temperature. Broil will heat the oven. Can you help? I have 100 guests coming to a party this weekend, and the oven needs to work. Many thanks. Rick

Hi Rick,
Here's the parts diagram for your model:
SVE47600W
Diagram#3 Part location#29 is your main relay board, thats the part I change the most on these models for the problem your having now. Its located in the back of your range, you would need to pull it out from the wall to access it, by taking off the back access panel.
This part is expensive, check your owners manual to see if you have an extended warranty on electronic parts.

Thanks much
Thanks for a very prompt reply. I had guessed this would be your recommendation from other web research. Wanted to confirm with the expert. Again, many thanks for the quick response. Rick

Followup Question
Jake - I just noticed that when setting the oven, it's starting out at 380 or so when going from a cold oven. When programming 350, the situation I described above happens. If I set it to 450, it will preheat for a while and then maintain whatever temp it's getting to. With that in mind, is it possible that it's the temperature sensor or something else rather than the relay board? Not trying to negotiate out of the expensive alternative, but I'd hate to drop $200 to $250 if not necessary. Many thanks again. Rick

The way to test your oven sensor is with an ohm meter. With the breaker off to your range, you should get 1100 ohms at room temperature.
You can try to access it from inside the oven, should be a couple of screws holding it in, on some models the sensor connector will pull through that hole, if yours won't, you will need to pull your range out and test it from the back with the back access panel off.
