Maytag Epic Dryer - Door Latch
I have read several reviews online at Consumer Reports and other appliance web sites about the Maytag Epic dryer door not closing properly. You can fix this problem easily by compressing the spring clip with a pair of pliers shown in the attached photo. Once adjusted, the door will close properly and the door will not pop open during cycle. If you squeeze too tight, just use a screw driver blade to spread the clip open.
