Default Maytag is flipping over small plastic items - any ideas?

Hi,

We have about a 5 year old Maytag (mdb7100aww) dishwasher that started flipping over small cups and small plastic bowls (kid sized) in the top rack. The problem is that they fill up with water and soap residue and we have to rewash them. This started about a month ago. Any ideas or anything I can check?

Thanks,

Alan

Hi Alan,

Not sure what to tell you, this is an issue most people have with the smaller stuff in the top rack including me.

Here's a product that should help alot:
Hugger Dish and Cup Clamp - Set of 2

Hi,

Yeah, it is wierd. My wife has been packing the dishwasher with the same items via the same method for years. She never had a problem with it until the last 3-4 weeks.

How do the clamps work? I'm trying to imagine what they do, but it just isn't clicking!

Thanks,

Alan

They hook on the side of the upper rack, it comes with instructions.
