Default Gemini gas range lights on in off position

We were cooking something in the lower oven, when the lights in both the smaller oven, and the large lower oven started flickering. It was as though the oven was possessed by a gremilin- and I don't mean the car. We unplugged the oven- replugged it in- and still the light would rapidly switch on and off. Once the oven cooled off- the symptoms went away. The next time we turned the stove top gas burners on- the lights started switching on and off again. I pushed the button on the electronic panel to turn the lights "on" and the flickering stopped. Once we had the oven cooled down again- we turned them "off" but the oven lights kept switching on and off rapidly- so we left them in the "on" position.

We removed the ligths but the sounds of clicking still continue, until we turn the lights "on" again.

I would like to take a shot at trying to fix this before I contact sears. This is the second time we've had sears out- the first time is after I tried cleaning the oven stovetop- but ended up frying the wiring harness for the electronic ignition on the stovetop knobs.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi Joseph,

Whats the model# of your range?

When you mean lights, are you referring to the light bulbs?

    Default Lights flickering were lightbulbs

Sorry again Jake- the lights flickering were the lightbulbs in both the upper and lower oven.

Sorry Joey didn't see your reply.

Thats very odd that the oven light bulbs are flickering. Unplug your range and pull it out from the wall, then take off your back access panel and check all your wring, sounds like a loose connector somewhere.
