Default Maytag Quietseries 300 - Floating blue o-ring?

We opened our dishwasher the other day mid cycle and found a small blue o-ring floating in the water. Its almost 2" in diameter and is groved in the middle, made out of silicone or rubber. I dug through the manual and couldn't find any schematics, and I went through the parts database at Repair Clinic and couldn't find it. Any ideas where this might go?

PS - The dishwasher finished its cycle OK, but I haven't started any new ones since.

Hi,

Whats the model# of your dishwasher? Its located inside the door. Also if you can take a digital photo of it and upload it here or link the photo here from a photo sharing website(like photobucket.com), that would help alot.

Hi,

Did you wash anything that would have had that in it?
Say a lid or cover to a small bottle or something?
