I bought a Maytag dishwasher off ebay,new but damaged almost a year ago,needed a new front panel.
Well I noticed that the push buttons would not respond somtimes so we left it on one setting and left it alone.Worked great until we went to start it up and it was like there was no power going to the dishwasher at all,do likes no nothing!So I checked for power down below and yes there's power.I called a repairman out to my house and he thinks it maybe the Control panel but the problem is the guy I bought it from removed the madel and serial #.The repairman said he took some #'s off the control panel but thinks they will not help in ordering a new control panel.I looked for paper work on the ebay tranaction but found nothing,even could not find the guy I bought it from in my ebay feedbacks.The model I have is I'm guessing between 1 to 3 years old and has 12 push buttons on the front of the dishwasher.Can someone help in finding a model # or the wright control panel for this dishwasher?Thanks

The best thing to do is to take that control panel to your local appliance part store in your area and they would likely be able to match it up to a new one.

I live in a small town of 100,000 and they always have to order a part in from a larger city.So it's not like they have a bunch of them in stock to compare them too.You would think if you could google the dishwasher and when you find one that looks and has the same options and the same amount of push buttons on the front you could use that model #!
