Default Noisy In Spin Maytag Washer

I Am Working On A Maytag Washer Model Lat9420aae. Complaint Was Noisy Spin And Water Leak At Tub Bearing. I Replaced Mounting Stem And Boot Seal Kit And Tub Bearing. Water Leak Was Fixed. But Machine Is Still Noisy In Spin. I Noticed That Sound Is Coming From Either Brake Rotor Bearing , Radial Ball Bearing Or Possibly Both. I Have Never Replaced A Radial Ball Bearing. Any Tips Would Be Greatly Appreciated.

I doubt the sound is coming from the break on that model.
Breaks most often are only noisy during the stopping of the spin cycle.

I would replace that other bearing.

Yes, I agree with AJ, Its more likely the spin bearing above the brake assembly.

Here's the one for your model, there's also a link for the brake removal tool:
Manufacturer part#22003441 is RepairClinic item#893728

This shows you how to remove the brake assembly:

Sounds good, glad you found it was the top bearing above the brake package.
