Default Maytag Laundry Center #LSE7806ACE

SGM

I need to change the dryer motor on a Maytag Laundry Center, model #LSE7806ACE, but am unsure on how to access it.

There are two retaining screws on the top front which I believe need to be removed, In addition, if I remove the angled dust shield beneath the dryer, the interior of the dryer is exposed but I cannot locate any screws that might release the control panel.

It would seem to me that, like the Frigidaire laundry center, the control panel needs to be removed or released, and then there should be some screws that hold the entire dryer front, including the blower assembly, on.

I am confident that I can change the motor, I just don't know how to get to it.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Steve

Jake,

Thanks for the thread, its just what I needed.

Sorry if I posted my question in the wrong place. I haven't used this enough to know where I sent it. I do know that I tried to resend it to the dryer thread but it would not take because it was a duplicate.

Thanks again,

SGM
