My model is MDBH970AWB
Please see this thread: Maytag Quiet Series 300 - replacement parts?? In that thread, someone said the part I need is the wheel assembly UPR. Here is a picture: ![]() There is a wheel on one end (shown in blue) and another wheel obscured by the rack adjuster part. This parts list dopes not indicate a WHEEL ASSEMBLY UPPER. So I just want to make sure that that wheel is indeed this part: http://www.repairclinic.com/referral...1265&N=1012086 Like I said, I don't even see that part listed under the parts list for my model. I really don't want to buy the whole upper racka ssembly just to fix this problem... thanks, brian |

Hi Brian,
I found another thread on this subject that Ken posted here: Maytag QuietSeries 300 broken upper basket roller wheel Your model uses the exact same Rack Adjuster Assemblies as in that thread. Depends on the first 2 numbers of your serial#. Jake

My serial number starts with 22... So does that mean I really have to spend $120 for the upper rack just to fix this? That is crazy...
thanks, brian |

Still haven't got around to fixing this... But I am about to move and really need to get this squared away.
Even though my serial number starts with 22, I wonder if this wheel assemply part will work http://www.repairclinic.com/referral...1265&N=1012086 Can that particular part really be different between serial numbers? There is just no way I can justify paying over $100 for a cheap little wheel... thanks, brian |
