Default Maytag Button Issues

I've read several other posts regarding the Maytag Quietseries 300 and button issues, but my problem didn't seem to be covered: the "Rinse Only" button stays illuminated pretty much all the time, and only occasionally can I change it to "Normal Wash" to begin the cycle. When I can switch it, within a few minutes it goes back to "Rinse Only". It usually takes about 5-6 iterations of this to wash my dishes. Is this a control panel problem or something more serious?

My model # is: MDBH955AWB

Thanks for the help!

Hi,

Its likely your control board or control panel.

I usually replace both since I've seen them fail so much over the years.

Here's your control board you can order:
Manufacturer's Number: 99003431

Here's the control panel for your model also:
Manufacturer's Number: 99003529

I got the parts in this afternoon, and just finished making the replacement of both the control board and panel. It seems to be working just fine!

Thanks for the help!
