Default Jenn-Air Oven Not Heating

I just replaced the bottom heating element in my Jenn-Air SVE47600, because the previous element arced and burnt in two. The element is still not heating up. I used an ohm meter and the element is fine. I also checked the leads, and the lead on the right side doesn't register any "juice".

Ok, its likely when your element blew it possibly tripped 1 side of your double breaker thats located in your house breaker box, check that first.

Checking the breakers was the first thing I did. Both are in the "on" postion.

Ok, then check your power coming into your range at the terminal block in the back of your range with a volt meter, you should read 240 volts across both hot legs(red and black).

Then while your oven is on, check the voltage at the oven bake element terminals for 240 volts. If you get 240 at the main terminal block and not at the element then its likely your electronic clock control board is bad.

Here's the cheapest one I found for your model:
Part Number: AP367441 - Manufacturer's Number: 71001799

I received the part today and followed the instructions in the Maytag repair manual for installation. I flipped the breakers and the clock time flashed and I reset the time. However, the left side of the control panel; Bake, Broil, Convect buttons did not function, just the start and stop time for baking. I removed the new control panel and installed the old one..same problem. Any suggestions??

Thats odd, then its likely the control panel itself.

What color is yours?

Here's the black one for your model:
Manufacturer's Number: 71002033

Here's the white one for your model:
Manufacturer's Number: 71002116

I have the white control panel. But before I installed the new control board, all the buttons were functioning
correctly. I wasn't until I installed the board that the buttons on the left stopped working.

Thats what I find strange, I've changed many of those control boards for this model and never had that problem.

You may have more of an underlying technical problem.

The only other part that I would think that would cause this issue is Possibly your relay board, but its very expensive. Its located in the very back of your range.

Here's the one for your model:
Manufacturer part#12001691 is RepairClinic item#400658

If you purchase parts from our links here and you install them and it doesn't fix the problem, you have a 30 day full refund when you ship them back.

Thanks. I just ordered the Power Relay Board. I noticed on the model diagram that the board is located in the back thru the access panel. As I will have to pull the stove out from the wall, is this going to be a difficult job due to the downdraft hardware?

Yes, it will be time consuming, but you should just need to remove the big clamp thats attached to your exhaust duct underneath your range, then once the exhaust duct is off, your range should pull out.
