Default Ice maker trouble maytag side-by-side msd2756de

The icemaker was clicking last night, I went to see if maybe the cubes were stuck and there seems to be ice ready to dispense but they won't come out. The plastic "fingers" seem to be in the down position.

There is frost/ice accumulated on the roof of the freezer some even on the door. Some wetness on the back of the freezer.

I've suspected that maybe I've had a water leak for some time, since I've seen ice on the roof and sometimes stuck to door before.

But now the icemaker isn't doing anything right now.

Hi,

It sounds like you have an air leak coming into your freezer causing the condensation, thus the frost/ice on the roof of the freezer. Check your ice dispenser door to see if its closing tightly after you get ice in your glass from the ice dispenser.

If your ice maker fingers are pointing down, that means your ice maker is bad and you'll a new one.

Here's the cheapest ice maker assembly I found for your model:
Manufacturer's Number: D7824706Q
