Default Maytag MDB7601AWW - how did i take this apart?

I'm back from last week. In order to find the self-diagnostic schematic/instructions I had to take off the front panel. That was easy.

Now I'm trying to put that front access panel back on and its not going easily. The picture pasted here is from the installation instructions and its really not helping me.

Any tips?

I find that you have to push that top panel up a lot higher then you think to get the screw holes to line up again.
