Default Replacing Maytag Dishwasher Door Latch

Model Number. MDBH970AWS.

Door Handle/Latch Assembly is broken and currently in the process of replacing. This is actually the 2nd time doing this (1st time was 2 years ago).

1st time wasn't too bad as I was able to transfer the microswitches from one assembly to the other but this time:

When removing the microswitches (little red/black switches) from the door latch, one of them popped open and spilled out their guts (never to be seen again).

New assembly has the switches included so that isn't a big deal however now I will need to remove the wires from the terminal of the old microswitch. I have seen this question posted all of the web and usually the reply is just:
1) Pull hard
2) use a screw driver or plyers.

I just don't see how these terminals are going to be released. I can pull harder but I have already started a stress crack in the plastic housing. I don't see anything in the housing that will release the terminal if pressed in. Pictures are attached.

Am I missing something or have others been talking about another part?

Never Mind.

I gave it the college try one more time after posting the thread. Sure enough they do come out. Can't believe you have to pull that hard. Ended up cracking up a knuckle doing it.......

Yes, its always amazed me why do they need to make them so hard to get off, I've changed many of these door latches and the wire connectors are always hard to get off, I pry them off with a flathead screwdriver or needle-nose pliers.

Good job getting the wire connectors off.

Here's the door latch assembly for your model in case others need to order it as well:
