Ok, great, i'll back the screw off counter clockwise one full turn, and monitor the temperature. But im going to order a new damper and replace it anyway. I just don't trust it.

OK, I replaced the Damper with a new one and now the temperature is between 27 and 38 degrees. Yeah....finally working again.
