Default Maytag Range model # MGR5755BDQ made a loud POP!!!
My wife was baking some cookies tonight after the second batch of cookies the oven made a loud POP sound and now the range has no power at all, what can it be? any input would be greatly appreciated,

Did you check your breaker to the outlet your range plugs into?

I know this is a gas range, but you should have 120 volts from the outlet your range is plugged into, get a hair dryer or lamp and test the outlet for power.

If the outlet has power, then your Electronic oven/clock control board went out, and you'll need to replace it.
