Question Jennair French door type refrigerator

Wife is looking at a Jennair refrigerator with french doors, and freezer on the bottom. Are these refrigerators any better or worse than the large side by side types.

The one she is looking at is rather expensive and has less space inside because is is only 27" depth, cabinet depth they call it.

Yes Ron, the Jenn-Air models are very good.

They seem to have less repairs than the typical side by side models.

Looked and the cabinet depth Jenaire today. The wire shelves in the freezer section were not coated with that white plastic. They appeared to have a cheap zinc coating that was already corroding. Very unimpressed, certainly not worth the price they were asking.

Ok Ron, did you check other brands as well? Whirlpool, Maytag, Amana?

Please don't mention LG or Samsung, I know nothing about them, lol.
