I have heard of techs using some kind resetable fuse or something resetable when putting fuses in a microwave. When I put a fuse in a viking microwave and shut the door sometimes they blow because the switches are not contacted at the same time. What would a tech use instead of blowing 3 or 4 fuses for testing a unit.
Thanks John the appliance tech in virginia |

Hey John,
I have a resettable push button circuit breaker mounted in a box and connected to a couple leads that end in alligator clips. When I find an open monitor fuse, I will snap on my CB to conduct my test and adjustments, then put in a fuse once I am sure everything is in working order. You can make your own and save some fuses. |
