I have an issue with the door fountain on my Maytag. The refrigerator continues to make ice cubes without a problem but nothing works from the door...no water and no ice cube dispensing. None of the LEDs are lit unless the fountain actuator switch is activated...then the CRUSH LED lights up and the fountain light turns on. I have replaced both the control board and the switch board with no effect. One thing that I thought was strange was something I found on the six pin connector that comes from inside the door and leads to the entire fountain assembly. When I set my meter to measure resistance, there is a short (0 ohms) between the white and black pin on this connector. Is this normal? What could be the issue?

No, that doesn't sound normal. Sounds like a dead short.
