Post Voltage Regulator for Refrigerators

I recently purchased a Maytag 24.9 Cu. Ft Ice20 Full Depth French door refrigerator. I need a good voltage regulator, any advice!

I was wondering if would be a good idea to have a voltage regulator between the refregerator and the outlet so that it reveives steady current or do you think a surge protector would be better. Please let me know if you have any other ideas to protect my refrigerator.

Surge protectors aren't recommend for refrigerators, but since most new ones nowadays have more electronics in them, it would be ok to use just a regular surge protector like you have for your PC/Home entertainment system.

I use Belkin myself on my PC and TV.
