My dishwasher sometimes defaults to the Rinse Only cycle regardless of what setting is selected and then flashes back to Rinse Only light at the end of the cycle. Sometimes none of the buttons work to select any cycle. Touchpad replacement? Or should we look at something else first?

Its fairly easy to install, just remove the screws that hold it to the inner door liner, and install it(comes with the ribbon cable). If anything mounts to it from the inside just take it from the old one and put it exactly in the same place as the new one.
