Default Neptune Stack Softener Dispenser

Model MHW2000AWW. The softener dispenser is always full of water when the wash cycle is complete. It dispenses the softener, it just leaves clear water. I removed the plastic dispenser, fill it with water from the sink and it siphons just fine.

I have the repair manual but I couldn't find any info on this condition. I wonder if there's a soft obstruction in the lower dispenser/tubing that allows the liquid to pass through when water enters the dispenser, but prevents the dispenser from siphoning. I'll check that tonight, but, in the meantime, does anyone have any thoughts?

Hi,

Have you just noticed this problem? There used to be no water in it before?

Have you cleaned it per the owners manual here:

On page 8.

Jake

It was more intermittent prior to replacing the motor and motor control board, but it did do it; so, it's not a recent problem.

Thanks for the owner's manual, I can't find mine. I already had cleaned the removeable dispenser parts, as the manual instructs, as there was softener buildup in the dispenser compartment. That's why I thought some of the buildup may have partially clogged the tube that dispenses into the tub.

Regards,

Larry

Most Neptune models I've seen has a little bit of water left in it, but shouldn't be full.
