Default maytag ice maker flood

i have a maytag side by side msd2454gr this is the 2nd time it flooded my kitchen 1st time repairman said everything is ok that was about three months ago today i come home from work water on floor the ice maker is overflowing i shut off the water supply to it any one know what is going on here.

Its either the water inlet valve in the back of your refrigerator where your water supply line hooks up to thats not closing the solenoid or the ice maker itself telling the solenoid to keep putting water in continuously.

If you can take the ice maker out and turn back on your water supply line and if the water keeps coming out with the ice maker removed, then we know for sure its the water inlet valve thats bad.

It may not be a bad idea to change both at the same time, since they work together.
