Default Maytag Side X Side
Hello Jake,

I have a Maytag Plus Model MSD2456DEB, serial Number 11762859YM, that was sold to a friend in Sept 08. It still works but in the freezer it looks like someone sprayed water in it. There is Ice everywhere, froze on the door on the outside of the icemaker/ice bucket. Just wondering if you have ever run into this before. It still works great as far as cooling.

Yup, sounds like someone accidentally left the door open a crack overnight, had another member with the exact same thing happen today.

Unless the water line to the ice maker is spraying everywhere, which would be very uncommon.

Just defrost everything and see if it reforms.
