Unhappy maytag mah8770a

I have a maytag 8700a that keeps showing "nd" on my control panel. In the repair manual it says this is a draining issue but i've checked the hoses( no obstructions) and the pump seems to be operating correctly. Is there anything i am missing???

Thanks,

Did you physically take the water pump out and look inside it, lots of times I'll find something that got through to it and broke the impeller blades in it.

Here's the water pump for your model:
Manufacturer's Number: 34001320

34001320

Let me know what you find.

took the pump apart and everthing seems to be functioning the way it should. Could this be a sensor problem. The pump operates correctly and both hoses are not clogged. I believe there are only 2 hoses one goes into the pump and the other goes out.

Yes, could be the Water sensor or Sump sensor, he's the tech. data sheet on your model that tells how to test those:

I haven't taken this one apart as of yet, but it looks like you take the top off first then you can get access to it, read page #29 here:
