Default MSD2456DEW Fridge not cooling freezer coils freezing

My Maytag side by side is giving me problems. The freezer is very cold but fridge is almost warm. Every couple of months the coils in the freezer turn into a block of ice. I mean a solid block where the coils aren't visible. If I thaw them with a hair dryer the fridge works fine for a month or two and then it freezes again.

Maytag did have alot of issues with the Adaptive defrost control board, you may want to read this thread, it explains all about it:
http://www.applianceblog.com/mainforums/showthread.php?t=223

Its located inside the top console inside your refrigerator section that mounts to the inside refrigerator ceiling, that console will drop down, then you can change it.

Here's the adaptive defrost control board for your model, you can order:
Manufacturer part number 61005988 is RepairClinic item number 948430
61005988

Here's the repair manual for your model:

Page 2-14 tells you how to replace it.
