Default [FIXED] Maytag dryer WED5300VWD grill looks burned

My wife just noticed one of the vents inside the dryer looks burned. Is this normal? This dryer is about 6 months old, should we be worried? There are two vents inside. The one pictured is the left one. I'm not sure if it is exhaust or inlet. Thanks.
