Default [FIXED] Noisy Maytag dishwasher - like a bearing went bad

Our dishwasher started making this noise a couple days ago. It is coming from under the dishwasher itself, as gets much louder when you pull the lower front panel off. It washes fine, and you do not hear this during the draining or filling cycles.

I did a quick youtube video so you can hear the sound as well.

I am guessing the garbage disposal motor possibly? I'd be glad to disconnect this part as we never put food in the washer, and it empties to the disposal under the sink anyways......

Its possibly either your chopper blade is bad and came out of place or your impeller is bad, or worst case the motor bearing went out.

Here's a diagram of your pump and motor assembly:

You'll need to take off numbers 1,2,4,5,6,7 then you will be at your metal chopper blade, thats likely were its broken or out of place, possibly a seed or something hard that down in there and broke it.

Also check your impeller#6 to make sure the plastic isn't chewed up either.

Here's the repair manual for your model:

Here's the impeller chopper blade assembly for your model:

Finally had time today to tear it apart. And fixed it as well. Found this little plastic piece wedged between the blade, and the metal screen. runs perfectly quiet like before now.....
