Default [FIXED] MDB7100AWB Heating element stuck on

I have a model MDB7100AWB ser # 15010485YW. We washed a load of dishes one morning and when we got back home that evening, opened the door, found the dishes extremely hot, and realized the heating element was stuck on. We shut the breaker off, let it sit for a couple of days and flipped the breaker back on. The element immediately heated back up, so we shut off the breaker again. My wife asked if we could just turn the breaker on, run a load, and turn it back off, so I said, why not, let's try it. It cycled through fine, and afterwards the element turned off as normal. We've run 3 or 4 loads like this since, always keeping the breaker off when not in use, and the cleaning has gotten progressively worse, although the machine seems to run fine. It is part of the recall, so I inspected for damage due to the recall issue and found none. But i did notice on the back of the control panel, the 2 large resistors showed signs of heat and a light smoke trail coming from them. I assume the control panel is the main issue, can I feel safe about the heating element not becoming a fire hazard if I replace it, and can the control panel cause the cleaning problems. Thanks, sorry for the long post.

Yes, I'd say its your control board thats causing this issue and the poor cleaning as well.

Here's the control board for this model:

Well, it took a week to actually find the time to install it, then another week to actually run the first load, but I'm happy to report that it's working fine now! Thanks a bunch!
