Default Maytag Neptune MAH3000AWW motor control board

Hi, I have checked the motor out and all is good in the 2-3 ohm params, my question is if I just replace the motor control board with a used/good one, will this happen again? What is the root cause of the fuse failure? Is it a board malfunction or motor overload? Can I just replace the fuse? Your advice would be appreciated. Everywhere I have looked suggests a quick, but expensive fix of getting the motor/board upgrade kit...your input please, thanks.

I wouldn't trust a used control board.

If your serial# starts with 17 or higher, then you will need this board:
Machine control board kit

If your serial# starts with 16 or less you will need this board:
Machine control board kit

The root cause is the door wax motor. You will need to replace that as well.

Manufacturer part number 12002535 is RepairClinic item number 1063620

Default Not a R11 issue

My machine has never had the R11 issue, I replaced the wax motor long ago, it has the black plunger, not the brown, so R11 never blew, so timer control board is good. I'm talking about motor control board, went through these steps-

Netune tests page, motor test, Maytag neptune washer, how to take apart information, odor problems, my Neptune washer keeps shutting off, Maytag

which brings me back to my original post.... BTW motor control board is located on the bottom right side of the machine facing the front, as if to use the machine. Fuse location on motor control board- F1, size 10A 250v

Sorry about that, Yes, your motor control board. I don't know the root cause of the motor control board failure, but Maytag came out with the motor conversion kit years ago to solve this issue.

Here's the motor conversion kit for your model:
Manufacturer's Number: 12002039

12002039

Now, like I mentioned before, I wouldn't myself trust a used board/motor, but thats up to you.
