Default Tines for Lower Rack - Maytag Dishwasher

Hi, newbie here. I need help with some parts I bought from PartsSelect.com. My dishwasher is a Maytag model MDBTT79AWW and the lower rack tines are losing their branches that hold the dishes vertical. They snap in so I thought it would be an easy do-it-yourselfer. On their website I put in my model number at it showed an exploded view of the ‘Rack and Track Assembly’ I needed part No. 20 (P/N PS2100760, FSP P/N 99003496) and No. 24 (P/N PS2004037, FSP P/N 12002750). The FSP numbers are on the bags the parts came in - FSP Appliance Care Products “Genuine Whirlpool Quality”.
Now the problem I have is that the tines are different than the original in that the new one’s lower horizontal part extends out so far that it rubs on the wheels of the lower rack (they also have a 180 turn at the end). The original horizontal piece didn’t extend outward at all, it made a 90 and became the outermost vertical tine that could clip into the latch, making it convertible.
My question is, did Maytag (Whirlpool) change the design and will no longer work with my dishwasher, or did I get parts that aren’t original, or parts that have nothing to do with my dishwasher at all? PartsSelect is no help at all.
These tines just snap in, I didn’t think I’d need a service tech to install them. I would just like to have my machine back to working condition, it has been an awesome machine and we haven’t had any problems since 2002 other than I replaced the door latch and switches that I bought with these tines, that part was easy.
Thanks in advance for your help!

We don't use PartSelect here as our parts supplier.

I'm not sure if Maytag has changed the design of these.

Here's the parts diagram of the racks:

    Here's #20:
    Manufacturer's Number: 99003496

    Here's #24:
    Manufacturer's Number: 12002750

Do these look like the ones you received?

Yep, those look identical to the ones I received. But if you look at the parts diagragm, No. 20 & 24 don't extend out behind the last tine, and don't have that "loop" on the end that the parts in the pictures have, that's the part that rubs the wheel. Parts 21 & 26 don't rub because they are further back in the rack and there is no wheel in the way.
And the old 20 & 21 were all the same height tine, not the new ones.
Does this make sense? Thanks for the response, but it looks like the new tines won't work, interesting.

    Default Tines Update

Well, I didn't want to send the tines back, so I made them work. I heated the loop ends up with a hair dryer, took my large crecsent wrench and tweaked the loop ends up so they would clear the wheel and clear the rungs of the lower rack when converting them. It didn't seem to break the coating, only time (and rust) will tell.
    Thanks for your help!
