pilotless ignition does not always light
the top 4 burners have pilotless ignition system.
usually the burners light within 10 seconds. lately i have experienced where
i can't get any of the burners to light, but if i wait for 20 minutes then they will light.
in the oven there is a bar that glows and then the flame lights within 10 seconds usually. lately i have experienced where the bar will glow but the flame does not light, but if i wait for 20 minutes then it will light.
is there an explanation for this behavior?
should i replace some parts? if yes, let me know part names.
or is it this an indictator that the stove is dying and needs to be replaced soon?
please let me know your advice. thanks. -cathy

Hi cathy,
Thats very strange, before you order any parts, call your city gas company and have them come out to test your gas pressure to the range on their end, possibly their gas regulator/meter is malfunctioning. There shouldn't charge you to come out.
Let us know what they say.
