[FIXED] Replaced ADC, but still have cooling issue
I had the standard issue of refrigerator not cooling sufficiently, freezer side cold and evaporator coils covered in ice. I found the correct ADC board in a local appliance store so I fully defrosted and replaced it without a lot of other troubleshooting. I reassembled everything (evaporator coil covers and all) and ran it over night. The refrigerator only cooled down to about 40-42 deg, but the evap coils only had a light layer of frost on them when checked.
Maybe my issue is a thermostat issue??

Did you put the back panel back on after you defrosted the coils?
Many members leave that off so they can see the coils when they open the freezer door, but thats a NO-NO, as leaving that back panel off causes improper cooing in the refrigerator section.
Lets also check your return air vent, its #8 here, its located inside the refrigerator section at the bottom left after you take your lower crisper's out you should see it.:

If that vent flapper stays closed when its running then that may account for the issue your having, if that back panel INSIDE YOUR FREEZER is ON:

Yes, I replaced all back panels after defrosting.
I also checked the return air vent as you indicated. I see the clear plastic flap and it seems fine. No blockage of any kind and it opens when running.

I think all is O.K. I gave it some time and checked in the morning and it seems cold enough. I measure it around 42 deg. That temp seems to be borderline with the temp controls set at about 3/4. Thanks for your help!!
