Default Maytag MBB2256GES top part stop cooling

About 48 hours ago the top part of our Maytag MBB2256GES bottom freezer refrigerator began to lose its cooling ability. As of this morning its obviously a lot worse.
The freezer works fine but the top has gone warm.
We turned the temp to the coldest setting and nothing is working.
There is a lot of ice build-up in the freezer and on the air inlet in the upper part of the frig. was ice crystal build-up for a good part of a year now.

We've had the frig. for almost two years now.
We defrosted the freezer part and a lot of water is coming out of the vents in the back of the freezer vents.

Any suggestion before all the food goes bad!!!!!

Default frig

why haven't you called a local tech yet?
how many times have you defrosted the freezer?
it sounds like either the door is not shutting proerly or you have a defrost problem.
the door can get out of wack on these frig's with the gear tracks that the drawer slides on.

Default frig bottom freezer

One quick check is see if the freezer fan is working, see if a piece of ice is freezing on or near the fan stopping it from turning...
