    Yes, remember it needs to be below forty degrees.

    the results of the defrost heater ~ 28 ohms and defrost thermostat ~ 0.1/0.0 (i believe that is continuity both). Note: the check the thermostat as fast as I could to ensure less than 40 degrees

    Sounds like both the heater and defrost thermostat are good. That just leaves the control board. Click on the link above the part. If it doesn't work you have 365 days to return it. The control board wil get it defrosting again and fix your problem.

    Would you have any instructions for removing / installing the control board? I can see the two clips holding the housing up, but I don't want to break anything (ie light housing) during disassembly.

    Release the two in the back and then slide the control back to release the two in the front.

    Got it installed. Hopefully, that will do the trick. Thanks for the help.

    It was a surprise to unsnap then snap the refrig back together like a child's toy (What ever happen to using screws?).
