    Default ice maker not making ice

    Model Number: MFD256OHEW
    Brand: Maytag
    Age: 1-5 years

    My Maytag refrigerator is not making ice. It is model # MFD2560HEW. Any help will be appreciated. The ejector arm fingers are straight down if this helps.

    Remove the wire connector from the back wall and with your meter set to check volts, read between the black and the white wire. Hold the door switch in. No volts, check the door switch. 120 vac, replace the ice maker.
