Question Maytag uneven temperatures MSD2756AEW
Hi,

My Magtag s/s MSD2756AEW has very uneven temperatures. The top shelf is reading close to 40 and the shelf above the meat/cheese drawer is right at freezing. The middle drawer (vegetable) seems to be freezing too, I have to constantly toss out frozen lettuce.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi,

Sounds like an air flow issue, take out your bottom crisper's and look in the back left, you should see a vent with a flapper on it, when the unit is running that flap should be open, when the unit is cycled off that flap should be closed.

Default I have the same problem with mine MZD2766GEW
I have had the same problem with my Maytag side by side. I have checked the vent in the lower left corner, but my model doesn't have a flap that opens and closes it.

I have just resorted to not putting anything in the bottom drawer.

It fixed the freezing in the bottom tray, since nothing is in it!

I never had a problem with the 2 upper drawers.

I also keep the themostat for the freezer very low.
