(I also posted this in the Amana section and I'm posting here as well because I'm pretty sure that the handles are the same on the new Maytag refrigerators)

I just bought an Amana ABB2524DES stainless steel single door, bottom freezer refrigerator. I want to change the handles to black ones to match my stove.

I've been told by 2 Maytag stores that they don't want to replace the handle on the bottom freezer drawer because it is very easy to damage the stainless steel front on the freezer. So, I have to tackle this myself! I have new handles from the black model, same fridge ABB2524DEB but now I desperately need your help.

How do I change the handle on the botton freezer without damaging the stainless steel. Any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
