Looking at an Admiral refrig.

I've never heard of them before. Anyone have any first hand experience with them?

Yes, they are excellent, My house is full of Admiral Appliances. My Refrigerator is Admiral, so is my Dryer. They are great machines, they are part of the Maytag Corporation.

When i worked for Montgomery Ward, there main private label appliances were the Norge/Admiral line.

Hi,

American Admiral is owned by Maytag....the Admiral refrigerator is a lower featured version of the Maytag and should be as good as as bad as anything out there.
