Default Maytag Refrig lacks airflow low temp

I have a Maytag Side by Side refrig/freezer Model MSD2756AEW that has the refrigerator compartment that is not cold. I have read other postings and found my freezer coils frozen or iced up! There is no freezing or drainage in refrigerator compartment and the flapper box is clean.

I defrosted the entire appliance and believe that Defrost control board may be the problem. Is there a blower motor for the refrig compartment or is there only one fan unit for the whole appliance?

Do I need to do anything to the styrofoam duct work at the top of the refrigerator to increase airflow?

Thank you in advance for your replies.

Hi,

Nope.

Yup. The evaporator fan motor is in the freezer and this circulated the cold air around both sections.

Nope.

That will prevent proper air flow!

Adaptive defrost control board

Defrost heater & thermostat assembly
