Default Maytag refrigerator msd2655heq getting warm

This refrigerator a few weeks ago was getting warm and after reading posts I did the following....
Check coils - all frosted up
Check fan - running
Forced unit into defrost mode by cycle cold on off 3 times.
Heating element got hot.
Defrosted coils completely/ with help from hair dryer.
Ordered new ADC

After a week the new ADC board arrived and I installed it, but coils(and back panel) are starting to frost up and when I try forcing defrost cycle, the heating element doesn't seem to get hot.

What next?
Did I do something wrong?

You will need to ohm the defrost thermostat while its frosty, to make sure you have continuity, as well as with the heater itself.
