Unhappy Maytag MZD2766GE Ice Dispenser Problem

I have a Maytag MZD2766GE refrigerator and the automatic ice maker water supply line freezes solid. Specifically, it freezes in the supply line from where the tube enters the freezer compartment to the icemaker where the tube terminates. Two repairmen have come out, cleaned the supply tube, insulated it, and adjusted the icemaker but it still continues to freeze solid.

Help! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Default Additional note

By the way, the fill tube is insulated and has a slit lengthwise down the top of the tube.

First I would check your water supply line to the refrigerator by pulling it away from the wall and making sure you have good water pressure on that line.

If its good pressure, then I would say your water inlet valve is bad.

Jake,

Thank you very much for your response. We finally ordered and replaced the water inlet valve and it has worked perfectly since. Thanks again.
