Default Amana/Maytag ARSE664BW Does not Cool

I think this website is awsome. What a great place to share information. Heres my problem. I have a unit that was bought in 2002. I have a side by side refrigerator that stopped cooling Friday Night. Both the freezer and fridge portion are warm. We are getting the infamous 'clicking noise' from the compressor. This happened about a year ago and the repairman changed the Overload Relay. So I went and got the same and put it in, but the 'clicking persists'. I checked the connections and crimps for good contact. Both the Freezer and condensor fans are running. We have made an appointment with Maytag....and they'll be here in seven days to evaluate. I fear that it is the Compressor. So my question is, is there anything I can do in the mean time, and is the labor free. Also, is there anything that can be causing this re-occurence?

Which likely ='s new compressor time.

Buy ice. Move your stuff to another or neighbours fridge.

Using an extension cord. Not cleaning the condensor coils.
Putting liver in the fridge

I measured over 10 amps being pulled at the overload relay, fridge's is rated for 9.4. Moved into coolers, thru away the liver. We'll hunker-down until the Maytag man comes.

The 9.4 is the entire refrigerator, including the compressor, fans, timer, lights, ect.

Epilogue:
Compressor was bad. Maytag upped their labor price to 180.00 dollars. Took some work and phone calls for them to honor warrenty.
Don't mess with Liver.

Thanks again for your help and expertise.
