Angry Maytag door gets very hot

My Maytag side by side frig gets extremely hot around the door edges and outside wall midway up close to ice maker. A repair person said to clean coils in back - but there are none that are visible. Does anyone have this problem or know how to get to coils?

Hi,

If you pull the refrigerator out from the wall, and take off your lower back access panel, you should see the condenser coils on the right side. Also make sure your condenser fan is turning while the refrigerator is running.
Lots of times I see something stuck in that condenser fan blade, or the fan motor has just gone out.

Whats your model#?

Jake

Default Maytag frig - door gets hot

I pulled the frig out and took off the cardboard panel. Don't really see any coils, not like the old kind, but I dusted off the back and it still is hot. I don't know the Model - it says Maytag Plus - side by side made in 2001. Has icemaker.
